I was left in awe of UNIANDES due to its amazingly progressive and innovative way of thinking. It was the first institution in Colombia to introduce PBL (Problem-Based Learning) in its law school. Developed by Harvard, PBL is a teaching method where students are presented with legal problems first, before learning the solutions. This approach is the complete opposite of how law has traditionally been taught in other Colombian universities. It was exhilarating, we all felt inside the courtrooms.
The beautiful campus and amazing teachers only made it better. I remember Aquiles Arrieta, our constitutional law teacher, the man who ignited my passion for civil rights and vulnerable people’s protection.
The campus is amazing, with unbelievable sports facilities, natural settings, and a great location for night crawling after exams.

I really like that the university is open-minded, non-denominational and without any political tendency. The above allows that in the University one has the opportunity to meet people with different ways of thinking, opinions, tastes, tendencies which I consider to be one of the best ways to prepare you for the professional life in which you should share with possibly very different from you
