I completed the Digital Marketing Certification program at York University and found the curriculum well-designed, with up-to-date learning materials and strong hands-on components. The instructors were knowledgeable, supportive, and respectful, which made the learning experience engaging and practical.

The only area for improvement is career support, as there was limited assistance with securing internships or entry-level roles.

Overall, I would still highly recommend the program for building relevant skills and practical experience.

My time at York University was a mixed but ultimately valuable experience. While the environment can feel large and impersonal at times and requires a lot of self-motivation, it also offered strong academic foundations and opportunities to grow independently. Navigating challenges pushed me to develop resilience, time-management skills, and confidence in advocating for myself. For students who are proactive and self-directed, York can provide meaningful learning experiences and personal growth.

I really enjoyed my time at York University studying Liberal Arts. The professors were friendly and actually cared about what you were learning, and there was always something interesting happening on campus. I felt like I could explore different subjects and really grow, both academically and personally. Overall, it was a great experience!

York University has amazing professors with years of experience. Some courses can be a bit repetitive and dry, but it is not difficult to excel (at least in my BA program). There’s always something going on at campus, so it is not hard to include yourself in extracurriculars. The only thing I disliked at York was the politics of the university. It is pretty difficult to express your opinion if you differ from the masses without being immediately ridiculed.
