I learned that this is a very competitive program and that you are not fully in medical sciences until you are in the third year. In order for you to be in medical sciences up until the third year, you require high grades, and approximately at least an 80% average. The extremely competitive nature of the program can make it a little unenjoyable as some of your classmates may put each other down. Sometimes the environment can be toxic. However, if you are a person who enjoys sciences, and can manage your studies well, then this is the program for you. If you can maintain high grades, then this is an excellent gateway to medical school. 3/5 professors you will get, you will enjoy. However, there are some professors who lack empathy with students and are not much help. Often times they are condescending and will not help you succeed through the course. Overall though, if you can make it through this program by maintaining high grades and a good study schedule, then you will enjoy this program.
