I am currently entering my 3rd year in the biological science program. The aspect of my program that I enjoy the most is the flexibility. Other programs seem limiting when it comes to selecting courses, however, I feel I am allowed more of an option so I can choose courses that cater to my interests. When it comes to student life on campus, I find all of my professors and other students to be very friendly. All of my professors have been very accommodating, especially through the transition back to in-person classes. I am however struggling when it comes to my future prospects. I have an idea of what I want to do, but I’m finding it difficult to navigate my way there. I have looked into student counselling but unfortunately haven’t found much help. Overall, I would recommend my program to other indecisive students like me who enjoy science but haven’t determined a specific field yet. I find that because the program is relatively open, students are able to explore a wide variety of scientific areas to discover or strengthen their interests in science.
