I studied Digital and Social Media Marketing at Seneca, and overall, it was a very positive experience. The professors were supportive and approachable, always willing to clarify doubts and guide us through the learning process. The assignments could feel a bit daunting at times, but they were practical, relevant, and really helped me apply what I learned in real-world scenarios. This program gave me valuable skills and confidence to pursue opportunities in the digital marketing field.

My time at Seneca College has been more than just about academics—it’s been a journey of personal transformation.

I first enrolled in the Financial Planning program, hoping to build a stable and successful future. But during that time, I quietly struggled with anxiety and panic attacks that shook my confidence and made me question my path. It was one of the hardest seasons of my life.

What helped me through it wasn’t just the curriculum—it was the supportive environment at Seneca. The guidance I received, both academically and emotionally, reminded me that growth isn’t always linear. I was encouraged to slow down, reflect, and start rebuilding from where I was.

Now, I’m taking the Digital and Social Media program, and it feels like the perfect next step. This course is helping me reconnect with the world, regain confidence in myself, and even share my story in the hope that it might inspire others facing the same struggles. Seneca has not only prepared me with valuable skills, but has also empowered me to turn my challenges into a purpose.

If you are on track to graduate from high school and are looking for a post-secondary school that offers support, has great professors, and has a welcoming community, Seneca Polytechnic is a great choice! Seneca also offers coop programs to extend your resume and most courses are project-based to give students hands-on experience on what to expect in the working community after graduation. The campus facilities are modern and conducive to learning, offering a vibrant atmosphere for both academic and extracurricular activities. Overall, Seneca Polytechnic outstands in education, preparing students for successful careers and lifelong learning and I am happy to be a part of this community as well.

Seneca College provides lots of professional support such as a career center, co-op program, well-trained professors, and faculties help international students, also it holds lots of activities outside of your courses like student parties, karaoke night, thanksgiving lunch, black history month, and student federation. Students have both academic and entertaining events every week. Moreover, Seneca College is such a diverse community amount Canada, peers and professors are from all around the world and students can learn and reach any culture easily. Seneca College’s campus in Markham is beautiful and big, it has everything students need to study, hang with classmates, and relax; even though the campus in York is a bit smaller, students still have access to enter York University freely. As Seneca College’s slogan “Challenge accepted”, Seneca College is a wonderful place for everyone to chase dreams, education, and careers.

As a Creative Advertising major at Seneca College, I’ve had an exceptional educational experience. This program has proven its worth in today’s dynamic marketing landscape.
