My time at Brock University has been nothing short of amazing. I’ve made a lot of friends here really quickly because Brock students are so kind and inviting . The Professors here are highly approachable and friendly. When you need help, you can ask them anything, and they will assist you as if you were their own child. Several of the professors are highly passionate about their work and excellent teachers; you can tell they want everyone to succeed. I fully recommend this amazing university.
View moreI truly enjoy being here. The location itself is ideal in my opinion even though it is a very quiet area. Also, the surrounding area has some fantastic scenery. I am very happy I got admitted and made the right choice to come here. I’m learning so much and getting such a fantastic education here. I can’t wait for what’s going to happen in the following three years.
View moreThe library is great. It has 10 floors and offers a lot of areas to study independently or in groups.
Some of the professors that I have met are really nice and knowledgeable about the course that they are teaching. However, the nursing program does have 2 or 3 professors that are extremely hard graders and/or have no idea what they are talking about.
There is a lack of organization, especially when arranging clinical sites for students. Expectations are also unclear and if you have a question, it is hard to get a straight answer for it.
View moreI really enjoyed my program of Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Brock University. I found the program offered a diverse selection of courses and practical clinical experiences to integrate theoretical nursing knowledge into clinical practice. I also found the professors very intelligent in their field of expertise and very kind and receptive to student needs and assistance. On the other hand, found the program integrated too many similar nursing-communication courses that could have been better replaced with more nursing-specific theory or practice experiences. Additionally, I found the nursing administrative department difficult to communicate with, as they were not supportive and rarely available to attend to students’ needs and inquiries.
