I’ve found this program to be fantastic because it does a great job of mixing business ideas with real-world skills. The parts about how to get noticed online (SEO), planning what our company shares (content strategy), and running online ads have been super helpful. They’ve given me a really strong foundation for making smart marketing decisions based on facts. I’ve already been able to use what I’ve learned in my own side projects and for small businesses I’ve helped. It’s made a big difference in getting more customers interested and bringing more people to their websites without having to pay extra for ads.
View moreI really enjoy the teachers’ approach—their lessons are clear and insightful. At first, my social media admin class felt unfamiliar, but as I continue learning, my confidence grows. Now, I’m excited to apply these new skills in a professional setting.
View moreIt’s a well-designed university, with generally modern infrastructure and equipment. However, when it comes to classes, it takes a long time to get into the subjects we’re truly passionate about. After more than two years, I’m finally starting to move away from the mandatory and often boring courses. The system imposes subjects unrelated to our interests. But once you get past that, things get more interesting. Most of the professors are competent and approachable, and they genuinely want us to succeed. I highly recommend the AGIR program, which allows for a more personalized learning approach.

There is always something on campus interesting to do and I would strongly recommend this school.

View moreHEC Montreal is a school that promises a unique and modern experience to any student who goes there. If you choose to do your bachelor’s there, you’ll be offered a variety of options to help your future career. Indeed, one of the best things is the multilingual approach where you can choose to follow classes in French, English or Spanish and acquire a French, bilingual or trilingual diploma.
Furthermore, during the first year of your bachelor’s, you will follow the general business classes. It really helps to do so because, after the first year, the classes can really go in-depth because everyone has the same foundations. It also has a unique twist where you’ll have classes with the same group for the first year, and you’ll be competition ing for the best group of the year against all the other first-year groups. It’s basically the competition of the House cup! (Ref: Harry Potter). This is a great way to learn better because you feel closer to your colleagues and teachers (Who will surely learn everyone’s name!) and you’ll make life-long friends.
Finally, I would say that on top of having great practical classes where the teachers are dedicated and highly qualified, the best aspect of HEC will definitely be the opportunities. Indeed, HEC offers a variety of clubs, groups, activities, events and academic competitions that are for sure, going to appeal to anyone’s interest.
The next step for me is doing my master’s degree, and I’m looking forward to choosing one at HEC because they have some of the most incredible business master’s programs in North America!
