This university offers traditional style management courses alongside non-traditional social programs. The diversity in course material learning (in the world of management) allows the opportunity to become a very well-rounded professional in the business world.
The classes are very intimate, allowing ample interaction with professors. All of my profs know my name and are familiar with me.
A lot of events for students. Also many scholarship opportunities.
One area of improvement would be to provide more resources to current students (how to start a supervised project, educational trajectory planning, etc.).
I am currently studying a postgraduate program and despite liking the content, it is not what I was looking for. It is very focused on producing employable business professionals rather than entrepreneurs, which is fine, just not was I was expecting from a business school.
Schedules are made assuming that you are available in the middle of the day which makes almost impossible to have a job, forget about building a business at the same time. You see mostly young people for that reason.
Content and teachers are very good.

A rigorous, career-focused program that prepares you to make an immediate professional impact.
View moreHEC Montreal is a good school that focuses on practice and case studies. In addition to theory, there are always team projects, research, and practical exercises that truly allow you to learn more. The school also follows the demands of the job market by responding to the needs expressed by students and future students. For example, following several requests from several people, we added Lean Six Sigma courses, allowing you to obtain either a yellow belt or a green belt depending on your final grade. We also added design thinking, etc.
One thing I find a little difficult is the support for finding a job. You really have to insist on making an appointment with the career management department. But overall, I recommend it as a school because there are plenty of services to support students and guide them towards success.
