The University of Guelph is great for several reasons. The campus is very nice and well-maintained with a variety of delicious food options for everyone. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved on campus regardless of program or interest, and the people running those programs are extremely welcoming. There are also many job opportunities on campus for students. Overall, the campus life and social aspect of the University is amazing. As for classes and professors, the majority of my review is positive. I had some great classes and some great professors, however, I found many to be teaching just for the sake of it, reading off slides, and hardly engaging with students. Furthermore, I felt some classes were unnecessary for my program, and my time could’ve gone elsewhere. The classes for my program were mostly applicable and useful, however some felt like a waste of time. Overall, the University is amazing, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it for their undergrad, wanting to meet people, and really make the most of their time at school.

I have been at the University of Guelph for three and a half years now. I have really enjoyed my time here as a Marketing Management student. The environment in classes is very welcoming, and the campus is so beautiful. My classes are now all marketing-based, as I am in my fourth year, but I will say that in all three of my previous years, I had many courses that were unrelated to my major, including mandatory Finance, History, Economics, Psychology classes, and more. I found this to be unnecessary, as I did not come to university as a marketing major to learn about these things, especially up until my fourth year. Overall, I would say Guelph does have a great business program, and I would definitely recommend doing the co-op program as the work experience is invaluable. The University of Guelph is a great school, filled with great people.

I love the University. I am in Marketing Management and I definitely chose the right program. Everything I learn is interesting and it makes me more motivated to do my schoolwork. I LOVE the campus. It is very small but it is comfortable. It is a 15 minute walk from one end to the other which makes for easy commuting to different classes. Some buildings are a little tricky to navigate but it gets easier as the time goes on. The student life at Guelph is amazing. I have made so many good friends. It is a fun school. I have dealt with a few questionable professors during my time here. But it was nothing I couldn’t manage. I think that if you are thinking about applying to Guelph that you should do it! It is my home away from home. When I have to go home for the breaks I genuinely get sad because I miss it that much.

The University of Guelph is an amazing institution that differs from other universities with its sense of community, diverse campus, and exceptional academic programs. The campus is beautiful with the embrace of the nature life and architectural landscapes. The student body is diverse and includes many different clubs and events. One of the most remarkable aspects of the university is its dedication to student well-being with mental health resources and there are many helping hands available. I enjoyed the classes I have taken so far, as I find they align with my major and what I hope to do in the future. Overall, the University of Guelph is an excellent place to study and build lasting connections. I would recommend this institution to others looking to achieve a higher education.

My opinion of the University of Guelph is that they provide the resources, facilities, technology and equipment to allow students attending the ability to grow and adapt to our evolving world. Known to be a social school, there are a variety of events located on or off campus with connections primarily found in Southern Ontario and many located in the city of Guelph. Many of the professors, often use their own unique life experiences to help students grow which I personally felt aided the growth and connectivity found at this school.

I am currently in my second year at the University of Guelph and have had a pleasant experience thus far. I am in the marketing management program and I am thoroughly enjoying it. The program has been super interesting and I have learned so many things that I can apply to situations in the real world which is extremely beneficial. I am also in the co-op program which I highly advise anyone that has the opportunity to join to do so. Co-op provides you with the ability to gain work experience before graduating which is amazing and will really provide you with an upper hand in finding a post-grad job. The campus at the University of Guelph is beautiful. In my opinion, it is a perfect size and it only takes about 10 minutes to get from one end of campus to the other. There are lots of great food options to choose from and U of G is ranked number 1 for its on-campus dining. My first-year residence experience was lots of fun and I was able to experience living on my own which was scary but also taught me a lot about being independent. Overall I definitely recommend the University of Guelph to anyone looking to apply or considering their offer.

I have had a great time at UofG. I am completing my second year in Marketing Management with a Bachelor of Commerce. At UofG I feel challenged but supported whenever needed. I have met many professors who have encouraged my learning and created a fun, supportive environment for learning. The campus is also beautiful and quite easy to navigate. overall my experience at UofG has been outstanding!

I have really enjoyed the past couple of years at Guelph. I am in the Marketing Management program and I love it, as it has taught me so much about marketing. The classes have all been very enjoyable since they are based on marketing which is what I am passionate about. I have also been able to learn about other aspects of business in some of my less marketing-focused classes like accounting and economics. Additionally, the campus is very beautiful and not too big which I admire. The food on campus is also very delicious.

This program is a great experience so far. The University of Guelph is a beautiful, inclusive and fun campus. The Guelph/Griffin life is something that I recommend for anyone. More specifically the LANG School of Business is a great program where you get the opportunity to experience real-life situations. There are many opportunities to work with others in group projects which prepare you for the real world. My peers along with me have gotten the chance to market and network ourselves with others for our future. As well, if you are an international student the online and off-campus/online communication is simple and well. I have met many students around the world in group projects who I can now call my friends. Regrading the workload for the program and what to expect, the first two years may include more of a heavy workload. But it will pay off because the following/last two years have a much lighter and more fun workload. Many courses prepare you for your furrier after school. Overall, I would recommend this program and school to my friends and anyone.
