View moreAlberta University of Canada is a multi-campus university that has proven to be very friendly to the students from abroad as well.
It also has many sectors dedicated for the students, like International Student centre, Peer Support centre and Student service centre.
It has many buildings, research centres and libraries. Even the safety you feel on the campus is so commendable and satisfying. The staff does a great job at making you feel at ease.
On the other hand, the lack of vegetarian food is a struggle for me and some other students. Sometimes the food finished before everyone even had a turn to eat.
Yet, Alberta University gives you the best college experience you can ask for.
The engineering program itself is quite an experience. With 100s of assignments and tests every year. It is one of the most challenging courses offered by the University. The international experience has been exciting so far. The major problem with a University with over 50,000 students enrolled at a point in time is that every piece of information doesn’t make it all the way to everyone. The professors are knowledgeable but some of them are not great at teaching. The weather in Edmonton is extreme so that is a very challenging factor in itself.
