Lived in lister hall for my first year in the university and then moved on to maple residence for my second year onwards. It was a great experience. Made a lot of friends and had a lot of fun with everyone there. Glad I chose this university.

I liked the location of the university, easy access and the north and south campus is not so far and there is access. People can also live comfortably around as its a good neighborhood.

Before taking admission to this university I did a lot of my own research about the top colleges in Canada which are very good in with their curricula and have a very affordable fee structure and about the course, I was interested in taking up after going through all these things I was able to shortlist the University of Alberta.

Good university great people. Student can get help where they need it and professors cater to student needs like going over complicated concepts that students did not grasp. Student at the u of a also contribute to the welcoming environment by helping others.

There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to how I feel about this university. Being an international student from India who loves to meet new people and experience new things, coming to Canada and getting to experience it was a huge first step for the endless things that are yet to come. My experience is not about the university itself, but rather what I have done just because I am here.
I feel like I have a home away from home here, even though I’m only in my second year of study, because of the diversity of friendships I’ve made and the cultures I’ve experienced at the university through different student clubs. No matter whether it’s hanging out with them, fighting with them, surviving on coffee all day, or sleeping through classes, it’s because of them. The university also introduced me to a wide range of academic, professional and co-curricular opportunities, which has helped me become more independent and confident. not to mention the opportunity to give back to my community where I live and the volunteering I have done for various organizations.
There is still a lot to say and explore, but in a nutshell, so far so good and without a doubt, I’ll suggest the University of Alberta to everyone.

The things that I love about the U of A would be; everyone is welcoming and there are tons of clubs and groups that you can join, there really is something for everyone. The classes are well taught, only issue is the class size is usually large, so it’s more difficult to form relationships with your professor.

The school’s location is very nice (close to the heart of city, lots of restaurants and landmarks to visit. And the gym is a decent size, so that is definitely a plus.

The school was quite good. The students were generally nice and kind. However, I feel the teaching is not as good as the ranking suggests sadly.
The social life is fine, but not the highlight.
