This is a respectable university. Its campus has a decent layout, and it is close to the spectacles that Edmonton offers. The programs are what you really go here for. With lots to choose from, many different types of students can find one that suits their interests and the school provides some pretty good professors to teach the content. The amenities at the school are mostly outdated and tuition prices keep climbing which is a con in my opinion. Other than that, I would generally recommend this school to those looking for an inclusive University that provides a wide range of programs to study.

The University of Alberta is a research-based school so many of our lectures are being cited and referred back to actual research done by our faculty. Studying kinesiology at the UofA has been mostly what I expected it to be, with lots of hands-on learning and excellent professors who are extremely passionate about what they do. What I enjoy the most in my program is the lab experience and getting to apply our anatomy and physiology in greater depth. I would recommend this school and program to anyone!
