I had a very positive experience attending U of A. The program I attended had ample course selections and seats available as well as accessible professors and TA’s to assist when needed. I also made use of undergraduate student housing which were adequately appointed apartments just off campus.

The University of Alberta has a wide range of clubs and organizations, but I found that some lacked active participation. It would be great to see more effort in promoting these opportunities.
I was part of the Womens club.

The University of Alberta is an exceptional option due to its distinguished faculty, diverse student population, and nice curriculum. Nonetheless, certain initiatives may be affected by the fiercely competitive economy and limited resources. Nevertheless, individuals who are ready to adapt and thrive can benefit from valuable networking opportunities and academic prospects at the university.

As an arts major, I often find it hard to gain experience in my field outside of the classroom. At the UofA they have created a lot of research, internship, and work experience opportunities specifically tailored to arts students. This is especially important as most employers require some active experience within one’s field of study.
