Overall my experience at Carleton “studying” Communications and Media has been lacklustre, to say the least, but this is to be expected as academia is just an overpriced meatgrinder system void of passion, interest or creativity. These problems, unfortunately, stem from low quality primary and secondary education, and this isn’t just a problem in Canada; it’s all over the world. These two stars can really apply to any post-secondary institution (which is extremely generous), aside from the top most accredited ones because businesses think they give fancier diplomas. I’m not sure this review is productive in any way other than stating what has already been said, so I’ll leave it at that.
