Though the first year was hybrid, mostly online, the university supported students in everyway possible. They even reimburse the expenses occured while traveling to Canada during covid.
The course itself is not that well designed and too much specific to the oil sands industry in Alberta.
The fee increase is crazy, which is troubling international students as its almost 40% increase year on year
Overall it’s a pretty good school and it’s in Calgary which was ranked as best place to live in Canada or in the world (not sure though)
Hope it helps
View moreI have had a great experience at this university. There are some really good profs, some not so good. It is a commuter school, but I have lived in residence so found it easy to make friends. Overall good though.
View moreI like how approachable every aspect of the university is. They also have a lot of extracurricular activities and opportunities to improve themselves outside the lecture hall. However, the engagement system set by some professors does not work in my opinion but it’s okay.
