I quite enjoy this university, I think how much you will enjoy it depends on the effort you decide to put into it. I like the people here and most professors are quite approachable. You’d have to be pretty unlucky to get someone underwhelming. I’d recommend it.
View moreI’m in 3rd year and only left with upper division courses. Turns out most of UD courses have a singular class. It is next to impossible to get into them. I’m a declared major and all UD I tried getting in 8 UD psyc courses all of which were full and some didn’t even have a waitlist. As an international student you’re stuck doing useless courses because it’s not allowed to take less courses if the ones you want are not available so as to stay a full time student. SFU needs to improve on this.

View moreI really like the friendly atmosphere of the school! I felt like I wasn’t being judged or looked down upon. The campus could use a bit of updating since the buildings are very gray and made of cement; therefore, it gives off a cold vibe during the winter/rainy months. I like that it is on top of a mountain because it feels special and away from the rest of the city–like a little getaway place. Overall, I will miss this university when I graduate because of all the memories I made!
