I’m a control and automation engineering student. Considering how dense the entire graduation is, most of the times students are over-studied and not fully able to make the most of the possibilities available in the course. Unfortunately it is an issue we have to deal with ever since the start of the course, and every semester important subjects are not completely seized. Personally, I wish I could’ve spent more time dedicating myself to the studies of electromagnetism, it was something truly fascinating for me. But since we had multiple other subjects that were also technical and difficult and highly demanding, I’ve only been able to do the “minimum” for me to get approved. Overall, I think my university provided the structure needed for most of the topics we dealt with, but I do think that we need a serious replanning and restructuring of our semesters.
View moreMy time at UNESP has been incredibly enriching both academically and professionally. One of the highlights was the opportunity to study instrumental music with the incredible composer Lunsqui, as well as interact with actively engaged researchers, which greatly enhanced my understanding of music and research methodologies.
The university provides a supportive environment for students, offering access to cutting-edge resources and encouraging participation in extension projects and research groups. The community is collaborative, and professors are approachable and knowledgeable, fostering both personal and academic growth.
Although UNESP has one of the best studios in Latin America, Panorama, the research is somewhat outdated and many compositions still reflect the previous century, going against the contemporary trends in electroacoustic music.
Overall, UNESP has been a transformative experience that has prepared me well for my future career in music and research. I recommend it to anyone seeking a comprehensive and engaging educational experience, keeping in mind the limitations in the electroacoustic program.
View moreI enjoy all of the things I’ve had, but the fact that every different part of it had so many different things that would always complement and connect with all we learned/are learning is really interesting.
This experience is delightful in so many ways but seeing this come together it is my favorite part.
The course had excellent master teachers and doctors, the history course has an excellent curriculum, both in undergraduate, master’s and doctorate. Classes and research are very educational
