I’m a control and automation engineering student. Considering how dense the entire graduation is, most of the times students are over-studied and not fully able to make the most of the possibilities available in the course. Unfortunately it is an issue we have to deal with ever since the start of the course, and every semester important subjects are not completely seized. Personally, I wish I could’ve spent more time dedicating myself to the studies of electromagnetism, it was something truly fascinating for me. But since we had multiple other subjects that were also technical and difficult and highly demanding, I’ve only been able to do the “minimum” for me to get approved. Overall, I think my university provided the structure needed for most of the topics we dealt with, but I do think that we need a serious replanning and restructuring of our semesters.
