Studying History at UFRN was an incredible experience, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best universities in Brazil. What stood out the most were the highly qualified professors—not only were they experts in their fields, but they were also deeply committed to their students’ growth, constantly researching, publishing, and encouraging critical thinking.

The university offers countless opportunities beyond the classroom:
– Internship programs that allowed me to gain practical work experience before graduating.
– Engaging academic events (conferences, seminars, and guest lectures) that enriched my learning.
– Strong support for low-income students, including scholarships, housing, and meal assistance, making education accessible to everyone.

Campus life was vibrant, with student organizations, cultural activities, and a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a university that combines academic excellence, hands-on experience, and social inclusion, UFRN is an amazing choice.

The structure may have some flaws in specific points such as the quality of the tables and chairs, however the outdoor environment of the campus provides comfort to students. UFRN has several projects to integrate students from both the faculty itself and other institutions, such as the SOI project which consists of UN model simulations.

One of the best universitys in the latin america, they have a great structure and the professors are incredible, most of them have PHDs. The searching field there is great too, and the labs are very well equiped
