KU Leuven is overall a great university, however, I should add that it is extremely hard and the profs don’t help you. The lectures are mostly profs reading through the ppts. The things that they teach you during the lectures are the tip of the iceberg and the exams are the rest of it. So think wisely before coming here.
View moreGood education level, really hard to study, bad campus facilities in Brussels and no living campus vibe sadly… BUT it will be changed soon (they are building another campus) and as long as you are an active individual, your student life will find you in such an international city like Brussels. So apply, you won’t regret it!
View moreSo far my stay here, KU Leuven is beyond what it has been described, the lecturers are up to date on real-life happening in the world and the problem-solving strategies are well able to task the students beyond their imagination and bring the best out of them
View moreIt has been an amazing experience to be a part of such a diverse and inclusive student body. The campus has facilities and people that look after you and support you where ever they can. Helps me grow everyday
View moreThe classes and programs are okay, the student life is not that good, the professors don’t really care about students, attendance is not mandatory so classes are mostly empty, the exams are really hard so you need to put in alot of effort to pass them
View moreThe program I’m enrolled in, as I see it, is a hybrid of objective and subjective thinking. With this being said we learn from the most analytical courses such as Mathematics for Engineers to Statistics, Statistics for Data Science, Logistics and Productions etc and the social courses such as law, human resource management, marketing, history, and geopolitics, etc. Having the perfect mixture of both worlds is what makes my program special and that’s why I think being a student in this program makes me a perfect candidate.
View moreKU Leuven is known to be a very prestigious university and has a great ranking both in Europe and in the world. Knowing these, while applying and before coming to Belgium to start the studies I had very high expectations. My expectations about the program, teachers, student life, etc. are definitely fulfilled. I love the amount of support the students get from our professors, counsellors, and each other. The student life so far is very entertaining due to the unlimited amount of activities both Brussels and Leuven have to offer. I would highly recommend studying at KU Leuven to ambitious students with many dreams to fulfil, knowing that you will always have your university and its staff to support you.
View moreFirst, let me start by stating the competencies. The professors are top class. Extremely professional and their knowledge exceeds normal standards. Fascinating curriculums and well established descriptions. Classes are a bit long but that is fine because the program is suited for working professionals as well (longer sessions but fewer days per week).
The direction is really understanding and the chairperson and staff is very friendly and responsive. Classes can be sometimes redundant on the other hand but that is because the material is highly interconnected.
As for the negatives, the environments is highly competitive and challenging. It can be a bit intimidating for international students as professors sometimes discuss matters in the dutch language with dutch students.
Material is somewhat difficult as the university is highly ranked so they have to meet the standards.
