This is an exciting university in a beautiful city – perfect for an Erasmus exchange. As someone from the UK doing one year of my masters here, I have a few tips for future students. The first thing to note is that it is a really large school with thousands of students and a big campus – so introduce yourself to your course coordinator or student services before you start so that you have someone you can ask for help once you arrive (which you probably will need). Secondly, be aware that the level of English spoken isn’t perfect amongst staff so be prepared for each class so that you find it easy to follow. The study facilities are great and plentiful, and the food in the cafeterias is also good (plenty of vegan options). Be aware that the university is completely closed on a Sunday so be ready to study from home or from a café. Overall I am loving studying here!
