All teachers are professional in their field, there are a lot of interesting subjects and you can always rely on support from the university. But sometimes the student life can be not fascinating, as it should be.
View moreThe law programme in Vienna boasts an over 600 year long history, which is reflected in the excellent standard of teaching in the faculty. The international law degree is in comparison relatively new, and takes all the tried-and-true elements of the Diploma Degree and adds new courses as needed.
Overall an excellent degree, if you manage to pass the entry exam I absolutely recommend it.
View moreI really like the good quality of the study program. The program is well-organized and there are a lot of practical works that help you dig deeper into the subject. What I also like is that there is a lot of feedback given constantly over the semester.
View moreA great university if you want to meet international students, appreciate unique architecture and rich history (the university was founded 1365 and is the oldest in the german-speaking world) and, of course, if you speak fluent german, although during your studies there could be some lectures or seminars in English. There are many libraries in all the faculties (which are by the way spread out in the best districts in the city). And despite the huge amount of students at the university, making friends has never been easier for me. And also come on, Vienna’s the best.
View moreI have been at Uni Wien for over a year and a half now and there is not much to complain about. I have found the majority of my classes to be quite interesting and the professors helpful when needed. Sometimes it would be nice to have them more available in terms of office hours because those do seem to be rather limited. There is a wide range of subjects to be studied that are available in both English and German which is quite nice. Overall it is a good University in an even better city.
View moreGenerally, there is not a lot to moan about the university. It has a big variety of subjects. And generally, the lectures have a good quality. Also, it is quite a plus that there are no tuition fees (only if you go over the standard duration of your studies).
You could say that univie has a bit a problem with stuff and equipment. That could be better at times but comparatively, it still is okay.
