I studied in the International Master’s program in Safety in the Food Chain from 2014 to 2016. I appreciated the opportunities to join funded research projects in professors’ laboratories and was fortunate to obtain a 20-hour work contract. The professors were friendly, and the university dormitory was affordable and close to campus. However, despite having a B2 German certificate, I struggled to find a job after graduation, possibly due to the university’s limited connections with industrial companies at that time.
