Ever since starting at Monash, one major aspect of the university that has stood out to me is how supportive they are of their student’s academic endeavours and wellbeing, offering countless academic support programmes throughout the semester and especially during exam time, making the transition into the first year very straightforward. Furthermore, if you choose a related science degree, the practical component is prioritised, which, in my opinion, not only makes the university a substantially more interesting and enjoyable experience but also allows you to feel more prepared to enter the workforce after university. Lastly, one of the most advantageous aspects of the university is the easily accessible industry networking events offered by Monash. These opportunities have allowed me to meet professionals in my desired field and exposed me to opportunities outside of the university.
