Deakin University’s Burwood campus has a modern aesthetic. The faculty is warm, approachable, and genuinely invested in student growth. Outside of classes, I spent most of my time with the Deakin Table Tennis Club, which became my go to community on campus. Deakin also offers amazing on-campus opportunities, including internships and industry programs; I personally took part in the Deakin Business Development Clinic, which gave me real world experience while studying.

Everyone wants to attend Deakin University for a reason. The range of students, teachers, and activities on campus is enormous. If you have struggled in the past, you will undoubtedly find a place at Deakin University. The friends you make will be the ones you’ll have for a lifetime, even though it might take some time. Although academics are difficult, you shouldn’t let that stop you from choosing to attend one of the top universities in the country!

Going into my third year of studying at Deakin I can say that it has been an extremely enjoyable experience. Deakin made the transition between high school to university smooth and easy. There is always a support team and help online or around campus.

Deakin University is a wonderful university with an amazing campus. The teachers and staff are very friendly and helpful. There are also a lot of resources available to assist with studies. The course content was also very engaging.
