I graduated in Accountancy from the National University of Córdoba. While I appreciate the opportunity to study at a public university and recognize that some professors were highly knowledgeable, my overall experience was disappointing.
The curriculum felt outdated and heavily focused on theory and memorization, with little emphasis on practical skills or current industry needs. Career guidance was almost nonexistent, and there was very limited connection with the professional world during the degree.
After graduating, I ended up building my career in a completely different field because I did not feel prepared or motivated to continue in accounting. Looking back, I believe the program would benefit from a major curriculum update, more practical training, and stronger support for students entering the workforce.
I would recommend it only to students who are looking for a very academic and traditional education and are willing to complement it with practical experience on their own.
