I enrolled in the Architecture program at FAUD UNC this year, 2026. My experience has been excellent; the professors’ commitment is evident, and the workshop environment is very dynamic. UNC gave me the opportunity to study for free, which is a great privilege these days. I am very grateful.

For me, my first year of Architecture at the National University of Córdoba is a one-way trip where you develop your own way of thinking. Entering the University City is an immediate culture shock, as its imposing and imposing buildings make it clear where you stand.

In architecture, the studio quickly becomes your second home. It’s a noisy, collaborative, and horizontal space, where the smell of cardboard, glue, and coffee is essential. It’s there that you learn the most valuable aspects of the craft: understanding that architecture isn’t done in isolation, but through discussion, by looking at the drawing board next to you, and by accepting that the initial design idea is rarely the one that ends up in the final product.
The teachers, who guide us through this process throughout the year, provide intensive and comprehensive support and knowledge, using a variety of teaching methods. Activities include workshops, playground work, neighborhood tours, and experiments with materials, among others.
From an administrative standpoint, you have an easy time processing paperwork or getting assistance to find out about things.
What I would call a “negative” would be the lack of commitment of some teachers when it comes to attending classes, since they sometimes tend to be absent without prior notice or arrive late to classes repeatedly.
