When you’re trying to decide on a school, then, it can be helpful to know what other students think about their experience. So, what are the top 10 business schools in Europe according to student reviews?
To find out, we analysed student reviews posted on EDUopinions, and ranked business schools by the rating they received. Compared to traditional university rankings, our list offers an alternative perspective that is entirely based on the real student experience.

Top 10 Business Schools: Methodology & top 3
Summary and Methodology
Our methodology for this ranking was the same as for our Top 10 Universities in Europe ranking. So, we analysed data from student reviews posted between January 1st 2024 and December 31st 2024, filtered by country of university – selecting only countries in Europe with at least 10 reviews – and then ranked the resulting universities by ‘overall rating’.
In this case, however, we removed non-business schools from the final list, focusing only on institutions that prioritise business management or adjacent studies. Business schools had to have more than 10 reviews to be considered for the ranking, a lower threshold than for our overall university ranking as these institutions tend to be smaller, and as a result, EDUopinions gathers fewer reviews from each school.
The resulting ratings are from students and graduates of each business school, from Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, and vary across in-person and online courses, to give us a wide variety of student views and experiences.

IÉSEG School of Management is one of France’s top business schools, holding triple accreditation from AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA. Students at IESEG can look forward to a dynamic learning environment that integrates case studies, corporate projects, and international learning experiences into the curriculum, while campus life is similarly diverse, with numerous clubs and networking events for the school’s 3,000+ students.
Just half of the schools on this ranking receive a location score above 4/5, and IESEG is the first of them. Considering it has one campus in La Défense, Paris’ business district, and another in the historic centre of Lille, this is no surprise, and students can choose the student lifestyle that suits their interests and career goals best.

The 3rd year BBA program at Ieseg school of management – Lille was an enriching experience for me. I had the opportunity to interact with different international students around the world for courses like cultural diversity passport, french courses and it was really helpful. The professors taught the courses very well and we had courses in HR, Finance, Marketing etc. The quality of teaching and the courses is top notch. There was an Career program course where the professor engaged us in interesting activities and helped us choose our careers. It would have been good if there were campus placements. The administration could have improved in the scheduling of classes as there was not a proper fixed schedule and we had to switch between different buildings to attend another class. Next on our ranking of the top 10 business schools in Europe is another Barcelona school, this time the Universitat de Barcelona Business School. EDUopinions student reviewers have already ranked this university among the best in Europe, and it seems that students are equally happy with its business school. Although the school’s degree offerings are smaller compared to other schools, students benefit from connections to the larger university environment.
In particular, student reviewers consider the Universitat de Barcelona Business School a top school for accommodation and professors, ranking first in this list for both of these factors. However, it also receives high scores for facilities and student life – not surprising given the vibrant lifestyle available in Barcelona.

A triple-accredited institution offering bachelor’s, master’s, and MBA programmes, SKEMA Business School has built a strong emphasis on digital business, innovation and sustainability. The school campuses around the globe, including in China and Brazil, but students can also choose to study at the school’s main campus in Lille. Here, students can enjoy a vibrant student life in a bustling student city, close to Brussels, Paris and London.
SKEMA makes it into the top five business schools in London thanks to a strong overall rating (though it’s a score just 0.03 above the sixth ranked school). The school also receives high scores for internationality and professors, while it ranks among the best on this list for student life – unsurprising, given the wealth of experiences students can take advantage of across its campuses.

What struck me most about this school was the quality of the internships offered. I was able to complete a six-month internship in a large company in Paris, which really boosted my CV. The courses are also very interesting, with lots of real case studies. However, I find that the school administration is sometimes unorganized, which can be frustrating. Despite this, I highly recommend SKEMA for those who want practical, job-oriented training.

4. ISM University of Management and Economics, Lithuania (4.69/5 Rating)
Based in Vilnius, Lithuania, ISM University of Management and Economics is a private business school with connections across Europe. Students can study dual-degrees earned in collaboration with top schools in Denmark, France, and the United States, while the school also has partnerships with local Lithuanian companies. With a central location in Vilnius – which just ranked as the top hidden gem student city in Europe – students can immerse themselves in local culture and traditions while studying.
Indeed, students give ISM an exceptionally high score for student life (4.81), just 0.01 behind the highest score on this list for the European School of Economics (ESE). ISM also receives the joint-highest score for value for money thanks to its affordable semester fee of €4,300. All in all, ISM earns its place on this ranking beside other established names in the business school world.

I’m a double degree business student, and I’ve loved my experience here. The learning criteria, the university, and the people, are some of the things that I can highlight. Also, the multiculturalism that there is, and the great reception for those who come here.
2. European School of Economics – ESE, Italy (4.73/5 Rating)
There’s really very little between our bronze place and second place business school – just 0.01 separates their overall ratings. However, European School of Economics comes out slightly on top. When taking into account the average of individual ratings, ESE also marginally triumphs over MIB Trieste, with an average of 4.58 compared to 4.56.
ESE is a small private business school with campuses in London, Rome, Milan, Madrid, and Florence. The school places a strong emphasis on experiential learning and close-knit communities, with class sizes kept small for maximum interaction between students and professors. EDUopinions reviewers rate the school highly for internationality and student life, a reflection of its top city locations and global perspective.

I’m a graduate from the European School of Economics Florence, pursued the specialization of finance. My experience with ESE was great, first of all the faculty members are really welcoming and helpful with any assistance needed for documentation, accommodation, and cultural integration.
The school offers small international classes with experienced businessmen working as professors, sharing real life cases from their experiences that would help better understand and analyze cases and subjects during the classes .
