I am a current first-year student at UCC and so far, I've loved every moment of it. It is a welcoming and friendly university for new incoming students, whether you're from Ireland or abroad. With 160+ clubs and societies to choose from, students will find something they're interested in to join. And if they don't? Then there's also the option of starting up a new society. The campus is stunning and I often wander around at night while I talk with my best friend. There are many places on campus to chill out with friends or grab some delicious food to eat. I spend most of my time in the Boole Library studying. UCC offers many supports to students such as academic help, financial help, etc. It makes sure students have no difficulty getting through college, so the staff will do their best to help with any concerns any student may have. Overall there is a positive vibe around campus and the opportunity to meet many new people from different backgrounds. After all, there's a reason why UCC is ranked #1 for student experience in Ireland. I would 100% recommend this university for anyone looking to study in Ireland.
