Trinity Business School • Dublin, Ireland

Trinity Business School is the business school at the prestigious Trinity College Dublin, Ireland’s premier university located at the heart of the Irish capital city. Trinity Business School offers programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive levels to a diverse international student body in a city as vibrant culturally as it is commercially. Trinity’s main campus is one of the most popular tourist sites in Dublin. One of the main attractions is the TCD library which – while Trinity Business School was founded in 1925 – dates back to the year 1592 when TCD itself was first established. Its collections, both physical and online, and access to online sources are vast. There are over 6 million printed volumes available at the library. Students at Trinity Business School choose to take courses in the following subject areas: finance, economics, marketing, human resources, entrepreneurship, and of course an MBA programme. Teachers at the university focus specifically on career prospects and aim to prepare students for the real world of commerce. This has resulted in a stellar record for graduate employment, and has made the school look extremely attractive on a CV to corporations the world over. Alongside its taught study programmes, extensive research on both individual and much larger levels also takes place at the university, and scholarships are offered to selected students depending on a variety of factors such as academic achievement or participation in extracurricular activities. Furthermore, student life at Trinity Business School is as good as its academic side. Dublin is full of quirky, fun, and culturally rich cafés, bars, restaurants, and museums. Additionally, the famous Temple Bar area of the city is a short walk from Trinity’s campus. If you prefer to stay at the university, there are more than 100 student societies that you can join, and full membership of the impressive state-of-the-art Sports Centre is at every student’s disposal, as the cost is covered in the university’s tuition fees. The Health Centre on campus is also available to students, as well as The Global Room – a haven for international students. As for accommodation, however, while TCD runs services to aid students in their search for somewhere to live, it is recommended that students apply early for places – whether it is for on-campus accommodation, off-campus, or a private apartment in Dublin. It is vital to remember that you must have a sufficient level of English to study at Trinity Business School. To find out if you do, you may take an IELTS test. Then, Ireland – home to countless financial and pharmaceutical multinational companies among other areas – is at your feet.
