Although I earned my bachelor degree at the University of York in UK, it was quite theoretical. I really started to bridge the learning gap between theory and practice only when I started to pursue my master degree in Business Analytics and Data Science at EU Business School in Barcelona. What stands out most in my current program is the university’s strong emphasis on practical experience. Our professors are not only scholars but also are successful business managers and data experts, as they are either the owners of successful organizations or individuals who took on top management roles in large corporations. Their teachings are more than just the syllabus in, they also provide personal experience in the area of niche markets, provide best practices in an industry, and always provoke our thinking with regard to the existing trends in higher education, business strategy, and innovation.
Amazing program, it provides the perfect blend and opportunity to learn skills and also explore your creativity. Most professors are very experienced and well known within their field of expertise. Some are outstanding and provide you with great knowledge. There is a lot of emphases given to practical learning and group projects. WHU staff, as well as students, were good fun.
My experience with IU is very wonderful and exceptional. The learning process is smooth and easy especially for online students and the exams are well tailored to test your knowledge on what you have been learning. It is quite great indeed.
My experience at KLU has truly been life-changing. This university has given me a second chance and opened the door to a completely new life filled with opportunities. From the very beginning, it has felt like a second home. What makes KLU so special is the people. Every single person here is supportive and genuinely willing to help. The professors are not only highly qualified and professional, but also approachable and always ready to guide you in any academic or professional matter. I have never been in a place like this before. The strong connection with industry, the quality of events, and the incredible network of classmates and alumni create the perfect environment for both personal and professional growth. I completed my M.Sc. in Medical Engineering at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, and overall it has been a very valuable and enriching experience. The program offers a strong combination of engineering, medical imaging, and data-driven methods. Courses such as MRI, biomedical signal processing, and machine learning provided both theoretical depth and practical exposure. I especially appreciated the balance between physics-based understanding and modern AI techniques. One of the highlights of my studies was the opportunity to work on a hands-on thesis project involving intuitive robot control using EMG and IMU signals. This allowed me to apply concepts like signal processing, machine learning, and robotics control (e.g., Cartesian control and simulation using MuJoCo) to a real-world problem. The university provides good research opportunities, and institutes like AIROB/FAPS offer exposure to cutting-edge robotics and automation projects. Collaboration between disciplines is also a strong point. However, some courses can be quite theoretical, and students may need to take extra initiative to gain more practical or industry-oriented experience. Additionally, navigating administrative processes can sometimes be slow. Overall, I would definitely recommend this program to students interested in medical imaging, biomedical signal processing, robotics, or AI in healthcare. It provides a solid foundation for both research and industry careers.
I loved being at Schiller in Heidelberg. The setting and the city were very serene and the exposure to all those students and teachers from such different and diverse backgrounds was a great learning experience. Additionally, the ease of accessing the Schiller campuses in the other countries was a great additional bonus to studying at Schiller. I would most definitely recommend Schiller to other students who are looking for a very culturally fulfilling experience.
