In my experience, this business school is considerably more hyped than the actual value it delivers. While the marketing and reputation may create high expectations, the learning experience often falls short. One of the biggest concerns is the lack of placement support. Students are largely expected to manage their career opportunities on their own, which can be disappointing given the investment made in the program. Academically, many subjects are covered only at a surface level. The curriculum tends to focus on providing a broad overview rather than developing deep understanding or practical expertise. Most topics are wrapped up in just one or two classes, which is rarely enough to gain meaningful knowledge or build strong skills. As a result, students are often left to do significant self-learning if they want to truly understand the material. While the school introduces a wide range of business concepts, it doesn't always provide the depth, rigour, or hands-on learning that many students expect from a quality business education. Overall, I found the institution to be somewhat overrated, with the reputation and hype exceeding the actual learning outcomes and career support provided.
The DBS MBA is a master's degree for people who really want to learn a lot in a relatively short time, to do so they use a very dynamic and fast-paced work methodology, and in my opinion very useful and effective. In addition, teamwork is encouraged almost at all times, values that are highly valued if you come from more autonomous training such as engineering. The more purely theoretical training is also combined with real cases of entrepreneurship or experiences of successful people with high experience in the business world. Without a doubt, quality-price, I think it is the best master's degree you can opt for. Of course, being part of the Deusto Business School will greatly facilitate your access to the world of work, as well as a great networking network.
The life in Murcia is simply great! A lot of tapas bars, bars, clubs etc. which are affordable for students! During the courses at UCAM, I got to know so many international people who got really good friends in the meanwhile. The only shortcoming is that several professors have difficulties to explain their ideas in English, because of the language barrier. But this does not concern every teacher. Furthermore, the teaching staff is not only about professors but about people having their own business and talking about their own experiences. All in all the education is pretty good at UCAM. But the working-life balance is even better. "Savoir-Vivre!"

First, since I asked for information for the ELE Master, I had the advisor constantly pressuring me to decide, to enroll, to PAY, to sign... she would not leave me alone for a day. Up to that point, I didn't like it, but I thought, well, it was their way of selling, 1st red flag. 2nd red flag: When signing the registration on the platform, they asked me if I agreed with the conditions, but the conditions did not appear anywhere, to which I told the advisor that I could not sign a document where they asked me if I agree to the conditions that are not explained to me. She responded by saying that there was "nothing strange", and that the conditions were that I was going to study at the university, and I was surprised that a supposedly serious institution believes that one must accept the conditions that they tell you orally, is it Seriously?, 3rd red flag. However, I wanted to continue trusting (silly me) and I signed. However, I told advisor Pilar Fuentes that, as a suggestion, the conditions should be explicitly described in that document, to which she did not respond anything, nor to my question about what the next step was. Two days passed and still no response. I asked him again what the next step was and three days later he responded: "Hello, how can I help you?" As if he didn't know me, I repeated the question again, which remained unanswered for two more days, that is, 5 in total. (4th red flag), clearly showing that this university only cares about PROFIT. Once they take money from you, they forget. During those days, another person already sent me the "20 installments" in which I had to pay, which surprised me again because no one asked me how I was going to pay. When I asked this person about it, he told me I had SIGNED for 20 installments... (5th red flag). What other surprise were they going to come up with that I had signed? But of course, it was my mistake to accept what the advisor told me. When I wrote to this advisor again to tell her that she couldn't believe that she still hadn't answered me after 5 days and that she wasn't going to give another cent to this university, she just reacted with a not very credible excuse. I demanded the return of MY money (290 USD) and despite the fact that I explained to them in the discharge department that I had completely lost confidence in the institution due to lack of professionalism and transparency, and despite the fact that I offered to give them details of what happened, little They didn't care and told me they wouldn't give me ANYTHING back. In other words, I confirmed the advisor's attitude, but that this is a problem not only for her, but also for an institutional problem. The least you expect when you complain about a terrible service is that the person providing said service is a little embarrassed and at least returns the money that is not theirs. But hey, let it benefit them. As for me, I will tell all my colleagues about this terrible experience so that they can look for a university that is worth it. And I hope my review helps others not to fall into the trap.
Being here has been such a wild ride. Moving to a new country every semester and learning local languages has been both fun and challenging, but it's kinda exhausting too. Still, that hustle gives me an adrenaline rush I low-key love! The best part has been seeing our business ideas come to life and when people genuinely appreciate and engage with something we’ve built, it makes all the hard work worth it.
