My experience at Nyenrode Business University has been truly transformative. One of the most striking aspects is the emphasis on leadership and personal development—elements that are not only taught but also practiced. The small class sizes foster close relationships with professors and fellow students, creating a strong and supportive learning environment. The beautiful and peaceful campus is ideal for focusing on your studies. The curriculum provides a comprehensive overview of various aspects within the specialty, making the degree highly attractive to employers in Bulgaria. Although challenging, pursuing their programs part-time can be more manageable. New Bulgarian University offers more hands-on experience, equipping students with specific skills relevant to the job market. The lecturers are also commendable, offering support and practical insights that make learning more applicable to real-world scenarios, enhancing both the academic and professional development of students.
There has been a major increase in the number of African students that have enrolled in the last year but many of us have failed to establish a sense of community amongst ourselves. I can say that Uni life has not been easy to navigate and not having a village of people who are like me has been tough so I can only imagine what someone else is going through. I think the Uni needs to integrate an ACS for students like me, to know that they have people who they can rely on as well as provide an escape from what can be an overwhelming work life
The University is located near a town making it reacheable easily. Smart planning of the lecture halls;no need for long walks from place to place The university administration is now keen on supporting cocurricular activities where students are benefitting largely.
