A very nice college with supportive faculty and great learning opportunities. I gained a lot of knowledge, skills, and experiences that will help me in my future career.This college provides a wonderful environment for learning and growth. Choosing EHL was a very intentional decision for me. As an extroverted person passionate about hospitality, I wanted a university where service excellence is not only taught but truly practiced. EHL stood out because of its balance between academic rigor and hands-on experience. The AP (preparatory year) program had a big impact on me. Working in operational roles such as fine dining service, front office, pastry taught me discipline, attention to detail, and how to perform under pressure. It gave me real confidence in guest interaction and teamwork. Academically, I especially enjoyed classes related to financial accounting and economics as they helped me better understand how people and businesses function together. EHL’s career support also made a real difference. The interview preparation and guidance helped me secure my Front Office internship at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, which was a major opportunity for me. What makes EHL distinctive is its international environment and high standards. You’re constantly surrounded by ambitious, driven students, which pushes me to grow both personally and professionally. My advice to future students is to fully embrace the operational experience; it builds resilience and professionalism that truly sets you apart.
It is true that a diploma from a Swiss university isn't easy to get, but it is totally profitable. First, this program gives us opportunities to meet prestigious Swiss businessmen and businesswomen. Plus our professors are well-known and are the best in their domain. With a diploma from UNIGE, we have a career assured, especially if we want to work in Switzerland (one of the countries with the highest wages), but also internationally. Our university is located in the international city of Geneva, we can enjoy the little but pleasant student life with students from all around the world.
BBA program at BSL gives me the foundation needed in business administration with a niche of sustainability approach. The courses are personalized to student's needs and goals with small size classes. The faculty members are successful business practitioners in their fields who are dedicate to teaching and passing on their experiences. One thing to notice, BSL doesn't have its accommodation for students, you might want to look for housing beforehand as the housing situation in Switzerland could be difficult especially for international student. Besides, the administration and people at BSL are very friendly and helpful, when we first experienced the COVID situation, I was amazed of how the whole university switch to the dual-mode very quickly and smoothly. At BSL, I also got the chance to make friends form all over the world. They surely make my time studying abroad a pleasant and memorable one.
