EADA Barcelona International Immersion

International Immersion: Transformative Leadership for Future Challenges – Program Review I had the opportunity to participate in the International Immersion program at EADA Business School, Barcelona, spending a month at the Barcelona campus and an additional week at the Collbató campus. The overall experience was highly enriching and impactful. The classroom sessions at the Barcelona campus were exceptionally interactive and engaging. The learning environment encouraged open dialogue, collaborative thinking, and the exchange of diverse perspectives among participants from different backgrounds. This significantly enhanced the depth of discussions and contributed to a well-rounded learning experience. The Collbató campus offered a distinctly immersive environment, combining experiential learning with outdoor activities. This setting complemented the academic sessions by fostering teamwork, reflection, and leadership development in a more informal yet highly effective context. Overall, the program was a valuable learning journey. While the immediate experience was positive, its true impact has become more evident over time. It has contributed meaningfully to my personal and professional development, particularly in enhancing my leadership perspective, cross-cultural understanding, and ability to navigate complex, real-world challenges.

Professor and teaching style

Although I earned my bachelor degree at the University of York in UK, it was quite theoretical. I really started to bridge the learning gap between theory and practice only when I started to pursue my master degree in Business Analytics and Data Science at EU Business School in Barcelona. What stands out most in my current program is the university’s strong emphasis on practical experience. Our professors are not only scholars but also are successful business managers and data experts, as they are either the owners of successful organizations or individuals who took on top management roles in large corporations. Their teachings are more than just the syllabus in, they also provide personal experience in the area of niche markets, provide best practices in an industry, and always provoke our thinking with regard to the existing trends in higher education, business strategy, and innovation.

Esic university Valencia is the worst university ever 😡

Worst university ever, I’m an İNTERNATİONAL student who came just for one semester for ERASMUS from another institution. It was the worst experience ever in my life, Esic university treated me so badly. The ERASMUS coordinator is really disrespectful and he didn’t even do a welcoming day for the new students. We didn’t get any training on how we can adapt to the university's system. First, they told us it is a hybrid system, which is not the case. This is the first lie from a higher education institution. They are really trying to push me to fail administration and also teachers I really feel it’s a religious problem about where I come from , plus I did all of my exams perfectly. Now I’m surprised that one teacher wants me to fail because I didn’t do one exercise ( just one in all semester lol) , my exam was perfect now she doesn’t want to show me my results and told me that she will make me fail because of one exercise. It is not fair and no one from the administration wants to help me as an Erasmus student, but I feel there is a difference between me and Spanish nationalities. Now I will take my legal right. They really discriminated against me in every way I’m really sad how I got used and treated this badly and also this issue has now become a personal issue, I really don’t recommend any İNTERNATİONAL students to join ESIC Valencia it’s the worst university on planet earth 😡

Nothing to show

A life-changing experience in Sports Industry

A perfect synergy between theoretical knowledge, practical application, and high-quality networking. After completing the Master in Sport Management at Johan Cruyff Institute, I took a major step forward in my career in the sports industry. What truly sets this institution apart is the closeness and support of the professors and staff, as well as the enriching experiences shared with fellow students. Without a doubt, it has been one of the most transformative decisions of my life.

A good choice for hospitality

The college comes up in the top most colleges for hospitality related courses in the world. Les Roches has excellent links in the hospitality industry and has partnered with some major brands. The teachers are very friendly and professional at the same time. The college offers a limited range of courses for undergrads and post grads but the 5 year undergrad course is more beneficial to take up if you want to acquire proper knowledge and skills that are required for this industry. There are other courses also related to marketing that the college has recently introduced but these courses are not successful at all. All in all, its a good college to get into for an undergrad degree if you want to establish your career in the HOTEL industry.

Schellhammer Business School is a complete scam.

They market themselves as a legitimate university, but it's nothing more than a money-making scheme. I enrolled in the Master of Arts in International Relations, only to arrive and find that the entire course syllabus had been changed, without any prior notice. The new content had nothing to do with my field of study. When I confronted the administration, they brushed it off as “normal.” Only after I threatened legal action did they even pretend to care. They quickly threw together a “new” syllabus to appease me, but it was a joke. The professors ignored it entirely and taught whatever they felt like. To make matters worse, I was the only student in the program. When I asked about it, the head of studies just shrugged and said these things happen. In the second semester, two more students joined, barely enough to call it a class. Over time, we discovered that everyone was paying wildly different tuition fees. They hide this by handing out so-called "scholarships," but it’s just a pricing manipulation strategy. If you're from a wealthier country, they assume you can pay full price. Meanwhile, students from Africa were paying as little as €1,000 for the entire year, while others from Germany were charged the full €10,000+, and students from Poland or Italy somewhere in between. The "scholarship" has nothing to do with need or merit, just how much they think they can get out of you. The extra charges are endless. They claim student housing is near the school, but it’s far enough that you’re forced to pay an outrageously expensive fee for their private school bus. They find any excuse to squeeze more money out of you. The administration is a mess. Every person you speak to gives you different information about courses, events, transportation, and rules. There's zero coordination. The atmosphere is miserable. No one wants to be there, not the students, staff, nor teachers. The teachers are completely unqualified. They throw up poorly made PowerPoint presentations riddled with grammar errors, copy-pasted from textbooks, and then read them out loud. They don’t answer questions properly, they lack any mastery of the subject, and they’re totally unprepared to teach at the master's level and university level. This program didn’t challenge me, didn’t teach me, and didn’t prepare me. I learned nothing of value. If I hadn’t enrolled, I would be in the exact same place. Avoid this school at all costs.
