I would recommend the Master’s in International Hotel Management at Les Roches Marbella mainly to individuals who are specifically interested in building a career in the hotel industry. The program is highly focused on hotel operations and provides exposure to multiple departments within a hotel, which makes it particularly useful for those aiming for roles such as hotel management or general management.
The one-year structure is suitable for a master’s program in this field, as it gives students a concentrated overview of the industry in a relatively short period of time. However, I would not necessarily recommend this program to individuals who are not specifically looking to work in hotels or pursue leadership roles within the hospitality sector. The program is quite specialized, and while some of the concepts taught are interesting and valuable, they may not be as relevant for students with broader career goals.
From an academic perspective, I believe the program could be improved. The educational content felt somewhat limited, and more attention could have been given to course design, subject selection, and the quality of teaching. Stronger academic structure and more carefully selected instructors would have made the learning experience more valuable.
Considering the cost of the program, I personally would not say that it fully justified the amount of money paid. While the international environment, networking opportunities, and overall experience were valuable, I expected a stronger academic component and a higher level of educational depth for the investment required.
That said, the overall student experience was very positive. The university has a highly international environment, which makes it easy to meet people from different backgrounds and build friendships. There are also many activities and events organized by the university, which contribute to a strong sense of community and make the experience enjoyable beyond the classroom.
Overall, Les Roches Marbella offers a great international and social experience, and the program can be valuable for students who are clearly committed to a career in hotel management. However, for those seeking a broader, more academically rigorous, or better value-for-money master’s degree, it may not be the best fit.

View moreTeachers at LR are always available and the BBA program is very interesting. Les Roches also helps you create a good network of hospitality-driven people.
A great university that gives you access to big opportunities.
The college comes up in the top most colleges for hospitality related courses in the world. Les Roches has excellent links in the hospitality industry and has partnered with some major brands. The teachers are very friendly and professional at the same time. The college offers a limited range of courses for undergrads and post grads but the 5 year undergrad course is more beneficial to take up if you want to acquire proper knowledge and skills that are required for this industry.
There are other courses also related to marketing that the college has recently introduced but these courses are not successful at all.
All in all, its a good college to get into for an undergrad degree if you want to establish your career in the HOTEL industry.
