Digital Marketing at RMIT – is it worth studying?
If you are interested in Digital Marketing at RMIT, I used to study and have some practical sharing for you to consider:
✨ Big plus:
Learning by doing: Almost every subject has a real-world project – from creating a marketing plan, running sample ads, to analyzing user data. No dry theory.
Quality lecturers: Most have practical experience working in the industry, many have worked at agencies or big brands.
Studying entirely in English, language skills and international thinking also improve very quickly.
High networking opportunities: During the course, many subjects have guests from famous marketing companies come to share, opening up internship and future job opportunities.
😕 Points to consider:
High pressure of deadlines: Because it is mainly about group projects, teamwork and time management skills are very important. Just “cramming for theoretical points” is not enough.
Don’t teach too much technical stuff: Those who want to learn more about running ads, technical SEO, and in-depth data analysis will have to self-study or take an external course.
Tuition fees are quite high compared to the general level of universities in Vietnam.
💡 Summary:
If you want to pursue a career in marketing strategy, branding, content, campaign management, RMIT is a good choice because of its comprehensive training in thinking, soft skills, and a very modern learning environment. But if you are more inclined towards performance marketing (running ads, SEO, Google Analytics, etc.), you should study other specialized courses outside of school.
