As a student here, I was concerned about transitioning, but WSU’s spirit made me feel welcome from the start. The lecturers in the communications department are quite engaging—they include real-world examples into class discussions, which keeps things interesting. I enjoy this amazing small-town atmosphere; it’s simple to meet folks at football games or campus events like the monthly farmers’ market. The homework can be overwhelming, but academic support centers are invaluable. WSU makes you feel like you’re a part of something bigger.
