The School of International Service is ranked 10th in the country and growing! The Bachelor of International Studies is an interdisciplinary program that encourages you to look at aspects of international studies outside your field of study. At first it really worried me, why take class X if I’m going to study Y? The more classes I take, the more perspective I have. This is a useful system. SIS is the best school in the university. Most sophomores can find internships through their awesome career center. Career counselors are realistic and deliver results. Every professor I have had at SIS is an expert in their field, has written books and is still doing research for their research. They teach lessons they are passionate about that resonate with students. It can be a lot of work and the essay is difficult. The first semester was really hard for some, but if you really put your mind to it, you will make it!
