Student review [#37580] for Special Education

I am in a special education program and it has been a great learning experience. We have an organization that works with students with special needs, which helped me understand if this was the right career choice. My teachers are positive and direct about what is expected in the classroom and in the real world. This semester (second semester 1st year) I will actually be in a high school classroom and will be student teaching next year. If you let your advisor guide you through the maze of classes, this program can be completed in 4 years. Some are only offered for one semester, which can be a problem if you don’t get it when it’s offered. – M! It is not difficult to attract the attention of others on campus. It is very easy for me to approach anyone and start a conversation. Membership in organizations is one of the easiest ways to find like-minded people. Don’t be afraid to enjoy!! I love Miss Molly’s amazing coffee and some of the healthy options, but I wish they were open more days a week. A Chinese restaurant, several Mexican restaurants, Geno’s, Utter Delights, The Max, which offers great burgers and drinks. There is also Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut, Runza, Subway and Godfather’s. I would like to see more options for international cuisine, but I know it’s not very common in small towns in Nebraska.
