Outdoor Recreation
This was the only time I’ve ever loved school. The Outdoor Rec program was incredible. Not only did we have awesome classes (backpacking, kayaking, mountaineering, etc); we learned how to be decent human beings to others in all environments. There was also a lot of reading and papers to write, but they only opened my eyes to how necessary nature is for the soul, as well as understanding the history of why our land is the way it is. I made friends for life through that program and the professors truly care about you and are willing to do what it takes to help you succeed.
