I think it is a very good university for an Average student. Tuition fees are affordable and there are many scholarship opportunities especially if your from GA state there is Hope scholarship. There are scholarship opportunities for International students as well. In my case I was paying In state Tuition fees as I got a scholarship. There are many degree programs to choose from for both under grad and post grad. It is a quite a big university and there have been recent expansions as well. The on campus dinning experience is pretty good as well. The only concern for me is lack of public transport. There is a campus bus running during semesters around campus but you will need to arrange private transport if you like to travel around or going to Atlanta. I would definitely recommend University of West Georgia. Personally it was a great experience for me.

View moreMy journey at the University of West Georgia has been a life-changing opportunity. It has given me the support I need to excel professionally and personally. They have established chances for me to embrace entrepreneurship and thrive in the real world. They also provide support for struggling students, both academically and financially.
It has a community network that also supports both international and domestic students and it is indeed a very inclusive university with well-grounded state-of-the-art facilities and staff.
As a current student of UWG, there are many programs that have interested me and have interested so many other students. Every semester, UWG offers online tutoring and so much more access to the classes us as students take.
View moreI recommend it. Small school with all the resources of a bigger school. Far enough from the city to have a college town feel, but still close enough to visit the city. Teachers classmates and facities were all nice.
