What stood out: The program is very well-structured – 120 credits including 40 upper-division credits, from BUS 1101 Principles of Business Management to Strategic Management. UNIV 1001 prepared me with Cornell note-taking, 24-hour review method, and SIFT for validating information. I built my Academic Success Plan around my values of faith, family, integrity, growth and service.
Professors are supportive and give detailed feedback. The peer learning community is global – I learn from classmates worldwide using the 4 C’s method (Curious, Constructive, Compassionate, Clear). The Learning Resource Center helped me master APA and research.
Flexible and tuition-free model helped me balance work, family, and studies despite internet challenges in Lagos. It is not easy – you need self-discipline and strong time management – but it is worth it.
I plan to become a Business Analyst helping SMEs in Lagos.I highly recommend UoPeople to any first-generation or working student seeking an affordable, accredited American degree.
