University of the People has provided me with an excellent opportunity to continue my education without the financial burden of traditional universities. After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and becoming a Registered Electrical Engineer, I enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program to strengthen my software engineering and programming skills. The self-paced weekly coursework allows me to balance my studies with work, while interacting with classmates from different countries has broadened my perspective. Although the learning experience requires a high level of self-discipline and there is limited real-time interaction compared to traditional universities, the quality of the curriculum and affordability make it an excellent choice. I would recommend UoPeople to motivated, independent learners who want to earn an accredited degree while managing other personal or professional responsibilities.
