My experience with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has been very positive overall. The program offers a strong balance between theoretical foundations and practical, hands-on learning. Courses are well-structured, and the curriculum is aligned with modern industry and research needs, especially in areas like power systems, control, renewable energy, and embedded systems.
The professors are knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable, and many of them have strong industry or research backgrounds. They encourage critical thinking, research involvement, and real-world problem solving. I particularly appreciated the collaborative learning environment, access to laboratories, and opportunities to work on research and applied projects. While the workload can be challenging at times, it prepares students well for professional and academic careers. Overall, I would recommend this program to students who are motivated, curious, and looking for a solid education in electrical and computer engineering.
