Every gameday is an experience in itself. The hype and pride surrounding our athletes, as well as events revolving around gameday, is its own culture, ingrained in the University. It was fun and made my university life unique. Though, as an International student, my first year was tough with a separate orientation to the local students that created a division between International students and local students. It took a bit of adjusting and truly putting myself out there to blend in. The separate orientation also made local students avoidant and cliquey towards the International students. Thankfully, there are a lot of internationally focused events from the International Student Service that made us comfortable and created our own circle.
View moreI loved going to the University of South Carolina. The professors are very caring and will go out of their way to provide you with support. The only negative I have was the lack of parking available around campus., Be prepared to walk everywhere.
View moreI absolutely enjoyed every moment at USC. I had to get used to class sizes at first, but overall my experience was fulfilling. Professors always took the time and energy to make sure each student understood any work assignments. In larger classes we did break off in smaller groups to get a better understanding of the material. They treated each of us as adults, which made the transformation easier.

View moreI had awesome moments at the University of South Carolina. A great institution with a lot of things that one can learn. It provided us with several opportunities and networks to explore which made it easy for me when I was looking for a job after graduation. The university has a high graduation rate since the academic standards are very high. It attracts students from all parts of the world hence there is a lot of cultural exchange in the institution. Students’ leadership is strong enough to represent the student body to the administration and they act as a very good link between the administration and the students
