Student review [#89617] for Theatre Arts
at The University of Maryland

I completed the Theatre Performance and Dance Studies Bachelor program at The University of Maryland. I was impressed by the range of subject matters offered, and the level of knowledge and experience brought by the professors. I was able to learn so much about the various facets of a theatre production in a short period of time; not to mention the level of acting coaching.

There is a good quality of life for the students, the campus is large and has new facilities that are accessible to all students. One gripe I have was that, I felt as though everyone only cliqued up with the people they had classes with. I felt like I missed out on intermingling with students from other parts of the school, because there wasn’t much incentive there for people to go outside their own field of study. With that being said, I have made friends in college that will last me a lifetime.

All in all, UMD is a great school, and it’s a large school with a lot of students, nightlife and activities. I would recommend it to anyone interested in going there.
