One thing you’d like to know about a university besides proper education would be the people and or the culture, you’d like to know if the area is suited to match with most if not all of your personalities, I guarantee that at the University of Florida you’ll definitely find something that matches your personal interests, anything ranging from sports, academics (obviously), fun weekends, student organizations list can go on a while. But really it’s all dependent on what you want and how much you are willing to put in getting the best experience. My lecturers are great and very practical so I enjoy both academically and recreationally. Florida itself is a thrill. Would definitely recommend.
