There is always a wide variety of cultural stuff going on. Cultural organizations are always hosting events, the city of Gainesville hosts many activities, the Phillips Center is constantly hosting performances, and the Harn Museum of Art is a wonderful place to walk around. The university has endless activities for students to participate in, especially at the recreation centers. The city of Gainesville has so much to offer everyone! Gainesville itself may feel a bit “in the middle of nowhere,” but it has everything you need and want, and is a great place to spend your college years.
