Amazing institution
To anyone who wants to attend UF, I would say once you are done with the dorms, get off campus. I know dorms seem convenient and nice, but you can’t beat off-campus accommodations. There are an incredible number of options, and most are actually cheaper and much bigger than anything you can find on campus. In addition, it is very easy to find an apartment that suits you. There are many websites that can help you filter the results and find the best match. Or, if you’d rather talk to a human, you can walk into any rental office and get copies of the floor plans and pricing on the spot. The staff are always very friendly and can organize tours for you very quickly. I have been living off-campus for 3 years now and I can tell you I will never go back to a dorm!
